Tom Burke

 

Occupation:  President, Oglethorpe Business Group

 

Originally from Jacksonville Florida, Tom is one of six children from a very close family.  Tom attended college in Charlotte NC – Belmont Abbey College and UNCC.  His Bachelor of Science Degree  is in Supply Chain Management with minors in Physics and Calculus.

 

Having lived in Atlanta for over 20 years, Tom's favorite places include the mountains and anywhere on water.  He loves to go snowmobiling in Montana, especially Yellowstone National Park.  He grew up playing every sport available including football, basketball, baseball, surfing, racquetball, tennis, skateboarding, and water skiing. 

 

Tom loves weekend getaways in the winter to the mountains and in the summer to any place where there is water.  He enjoys volunteering and served as board member for Children’s Restoration Network for 10 years.  He currently enjoys working out 5 days a week, playing tennis and learning boxing.  A huge animal lover, he has a Yellow Lab named Gator…did we mention that he is a huge Florida Gator fan…Go Gators – 2008 National Champions in college football.  Tom also feels it's very important to Honor God in everything that he does.
