The Cherokee T.I.P. initiative is a collaborative effort of Cherokee FOCUS, the Cherokee County Truancy Panel, T.I.P. Georgia and Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metro Atlanta. Based on models developed by other T.I.P. Georgia programs, the primary goal of Cherokee T.I.P. is to support children and their families, reduce absenteeism and prevent possible judicial consequences as a result of truancy.
Training for the Cherokee T.I.P. initiative will be held July 25th, 2006 at 7:00pm at the Cherokee FOCUS building. If you are interested in becoming a Cherokee T.I.P. mentor, please call Cherokee FOCUS at 770-345-5483 or email:
