Qualifications to enter Cherokee Youth Works
Youth who meet the established guidelines of the Workforce Investment Act, which are:
AND at least one of the following:
- Low-income youth
- Youth that are/were in Foster Care
- Youth with Documented Disabilities (i.e. ADHD, had an IEP in school, etc.)
- Youth that are receiving food stamps or TANF
- Youth that have someone in their household receiving food stamps or TANF
- Youth who HAVE NOT lived with their parents for the last 6 months
If you are eligible, please follow these instructions to apply to Cherokee Youth Works.
1. Download, fill out, and save the Youth Intake Questionnaire.
2. Email Stacy at stacycooper@cherokeefocus.org to request an appointment. Include the application as an attachment to the email.
3. Alternatively, you may also call Stacy to make an appointment. In this case you may email, fax, or bring a printed copy of the application to your appointment.
