About Us:

Cherokee FOCUS is a 501(c)3 collaborative that exists to improve the lives of the children and families of Cherokee County. The collaborative is a partnership of organizations, agencies civic clubs, the faith based community, law enforcement, business, education, families and individuals. These partners bring their skills, expertise and resources to the table to create and develop programs and initiatives designed to support families and children through a means that could not be accomplished by one agency or individual alone.

The Cherokee FOCUS collaborative is a member of the Georgia Family Connection Partnership (GAFCP.)  As part of this network of 159 county collaboratives, Cherokee FOCUS is able to partner in statewide efforts for positive results while focusing on the specific needs of our community youth and families.

Join us for all the fun in Woodstock, GA for the 2017 Georgia Zombie Fest CarnEvil on Saturday, October 21st. Bring your Little Zombies or your big ones!  Festivities start at noon and go till 9:00pm.

Want a warm up for the event?  Then come on out to the Georgia Zombie Fest 5K Walk, Run, Creep, or Crawl in Canton, GA at Etowah River Park on the Saturday before Zombie Fest, October 14th.  Help support our drug free communities program as we are “RAISING AWARNESS, BY RAISING THE DEAD”

Can’t make it to the 5K but want to help prevent those Zombies and those harmful drugs that also eat brains? Then you have the whole month of October to register and participate in the first ever Georgia Zombie Fest VIRTUAL 5K.  You can run it, you can walk it, you can dance it, you can even ride it on your Daryl Dixon inspired motorcycle, do whatever you want for 5K and help us reach our goal of 8,015 humans and/or Zombies standing with us so that #NotOneMoreBrain will be lost to drugs or Zombies!
