For twenty years Cherokee FOCUS has continued to bring the Cherokee County community together to accomplish mutual goals that better the lives of our youth and families. We like to say it’s as simple as:

PEOPLE, PARTNERSHIPS, & POSSIBILITIES

Cherokee County is fortunate to have numerous caring organizations, agencies, and individuals who work to support our community members with their specific skills, talents and expertise . By partnering these organizations and individuals together as a collaborative body, they are able to identify community needs and develop strategies to meet those needs, and ultimately reach goals for the wellbeing of our community members that one individual, agency or organization could not do by themselves. Some of the initiatives the Cherokee FOCUS collaborative is currently focused on include:

• Drug Free Cherokee

• Cherokee Youth Works

• Cherokee County Suicide Prevention Coalition

• Cherokee County Youth Council

• Resource Guide and Development

• Mental Health Awareness Summit 2022

The event will be held on Friday December 17th from 8:30am - 10:30am at The Timbers on Etowah located at The Mill on Etowah. Breakfast will be served and door prizes will be given. We are excited to have a special keynote speaker, former UGA star, NFL Lineman and current motivational speaker Rennie Curran!
